Presentation av vår nya coach

Coach Denis Mpoza

Till kommande säsong stärker vi upp ledarstaben med ett speciellt nyförvärv.
I fjol må vi ha haft spelare med meriter från spel i bland annat Norge och Polen men till kommande säsong breddar vi truppen med innebandykunskaper hela vägen från Uganda. Tanken är att Denis kliver in som tränare tillsammans med Elias. Nedan kan ni läsa lite om Denis och hans tankar inför säsongen. 

Denis, who are you?

-I am Dennis Mpoza, a floorball coach from Uganda. I am 38 years old and from the capital city of Uganda called Kampala.

What did you do in Kampala?

-I am a sports administator, which means that I do reserch in sport. I help building sports departments in schools, universities. I also help building sports clubs in terms of technical support, for example identifing talented players and coaches and educating them. 

So, how come you are in Sweden right now?

-I am here for sports development consultative program. This means that I am here for the mentorship and capacity buidling of young players in diffrent sports clubs.

What is your floorball background?
-I started playing floorball in 2011 and then I founded a floorball club called ”TLC Gladiators” in Kamocha, Kampala and have since then been booth a player and a coach.

What do you think you can contribute with to Karlbergs BK as a coach together with your coach college Elias?

-I want help Karlberg to reach the division 4 by focusing on training players, talking to them, mentaly prepare them. As well I want to help Hampus to organize the rest of the club. Our long term view is to build a club that provides and educates young talanted players. In a longterm view it is important to have a senior team for the young players to have as role models. 

Why should new players choose to play in Karlbergs this up coming season?

-They can expect a new challenge since Karlberg is a young club in the floorball community. If you choose to play with us you will also get the expeience of being trained of a foreign coach, and then last of all, it will be a lot of fun beeing a part of the Karlberg family.

Great, we are glad to have you in the team. Do you have any last words?

-I’m looking forward to get new expierience by meeting new players, experience the Swedish culture of playing floorball and working experience with my fellow coaches. And last of all to understand Karlbergs BK as my new home.
